Ringside Notes:

Former IBF jr welterweight champion Paulie Malignaggi - who fights former lightweight champion Juan Diaz next month - was at ringside. Living legend Emile Griffith and actor Burt Young ("Paulie" from the Rocky movies) were also ringside.

This was promoter Bob Duffy's fifth fight card at Plattdeutsche Park Restaurant. "Great food, good cigars, action-packed boxing and live music," said Duffy. "It's was a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon." Duffy plans to return soon to the Plattdeutsche Park Restaurant.
